What is Core Power?
Your core is the dynamic control center of your body. Athletic ability can be directly related to an athlete's stability of the body while generating power in movement. The core muscles are the abdominal and spinal muscles that attach to the regions of the spine and pelvis providing stability and dynamic powerful movement. Specialized training of these muscles focusing on the development of the transfer of power from the body to the limbs develops explosive and strong movements.
Why choose the LTS Core Power Program?
Training your core is more than crunches and planks. In order to transfer the core energy to the limbs, the body has to properly sequence the timing of the movement from one body part to the next. Force and power development are generated from the ground up for most athletes. The sequencing of the transfer of this energy from your feet to your hips and pelvis is transferred into your core creating a powerful production of energy that is then transferred to your upper body. Any "leak" or loss of this energy transfer limits athletic potential.

Do I have to be an elite athlete to train with the LTS Core Power Program? I have developed a program that will benefit athletes of all abilities, from the so-called weekend warrior to the advanced athlete wanting the improve their game. Athletes of all ages and skill levels can benefit from the LTS Core Power Program. Whether your looking to improve your golf or tennis game, or you are looking to develop an elite core for high school or college athletics, the LTS Core Power Program identifies specific weaknesses and leaks that stop you from performing at your best.

So how do you train for the sequencing of this stored power? The first priority of the LTS Core Power program is to assess each athlete individually identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the core muscles. The second priority is to identify power leaks by assessing proper movement patterns and sequencing of the movements of the body parts. Once these weaknesses, leaks, and improper sequencing patterns are identified, a customized plan is developed and training begins.

How does the LTS Core Power Program work? The LTS Core program is designed to be a hybrid of both in-person and at home training sessions over 6 weeks. The once weekly in-person sessions are approximately 45 minutes with the focus on the development of proper movement patterns, directly supervised by Dr. Meder. Participants will be provided with an online, easy to follow, video-based exercise program that is to be performed at the convenience of your own home.
